hi
start again. i'll call myself "i" and "me". i'll call her "the moosh". the moosh is our daughter. the moosh and i are staying home together this year while "darling" goes to work. i will be studying and doing the nappies and odd jobs around the house. but not working. except when it comes to hangin with the moosh.
i'll be a stay at home dad. why is this unique? because it seems that mostly dads go to work while mums also go to work or they stay at home with mooshes. dads don't really stay at home and not "work" (you know, that official, get a paypacket, work).
that's why it is unique, and i thought maybe australian dads would like to have a chance to share what it feels like to be a stay at home dad, to share recipes, experiences, ideas, philosophies of parenthood, tips and stories.
altho the moosh and i had a great adventure on the zoom today, past the harbour, then back to the library, stop in at a native plant place and then home for a snooze, golden sunshine on our shoulders and noses and plenty of grins, there are times when things are not so smooth as this unfurling. this blog is also the place to share about those "growing" experiences.

chromed
hi
this is my initial blog. had trouble spelling "initial" for a second there. too many "Is" (plural of I). many would argue that this is central to the problems of my existence - i'm not sure what is central to these problems, but i'm sure my friends and wife could help me out on that one.
this is a blog about hanging out with the moosh and all that entails. bit of me, bit of her and alot of dada in between.
perfect start to this blog - as the sign says, "you may experience problems". that is happening, so confirm. the moosh has also chosen to randomly call out for "latte" and "mum" and "dadda", which is unusual when she is going to sleep. normally, it's the song (adapted from john lennon's "beautiful boy"), then "gira, moosh" (turn over), and it's all done. not tonight.
it is fair she makes an appearance tho, since blogger seems so intent on shrieking at me, and after all it is a blog about me and her and being at home, in a vehicle run by blogger (hopefully, carbon offset, or at least low consumption like one of those european diesel stationwagons which heaps of young families seemed to be driving their fancy strollers to the local cafe).
thankfully this is one of the parts of blogger which is working for me, as others are not, including working on my page design. my browser is no longer supported by blogger. hmm, maybe i should try google chrome. tried that - no change.
before this hits the streets, i'm just letting everyone know that i'm not using my name or anyone else's and please do the same when responding.
